With little over a month to go until the 2014 British Grand Prix, host circuit Silverstone has just released ticketing information for their two official test days.

As it says, the test takes place on Tuesday 8th to Wednesday 9th of July, the week preceding the British GP. The teams race on the Sunday, get a rest / preparation day on the Monday and then return to work on the Tuesday for 2 days of intensive testing.

Prices are £25 per person for a single day or £40 for two days. Both need booking in advance over the phone. A different price is likely if you turn up on the day so book before you go.

A brilliant feature of the two test days will be the pit walk about each evening. Taking place at approximately 17:15, this allows fans over the pit wall to get close and personal with the teams after the action has finished each day. Pit walk about passes will cost £10 and can be bought on the day.

If you fancy taking the kids, ages 15 and younger get into the test day for free.

It was reported this week that the F1 teams are again rethinking of introducing an in season testing ban due to the soaring costs. This could well be the last chance F1 fans get a chance to watch testing around the Silverstone circuit so make the most of it!

If you still need British Grand Prix tickets they are still available but are starting to sell out! Avoid the disappointment and get in there before it’s too late.
