Croft Circuit is a motor racing circuit located near Dalton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire, England. The tarmac circuit is just over 2 miles (3 km) long and is based on the lands of an airfield, but has long since moved on from being a basic airfield circuit. The circuit holds meetings of the British Touring Car Championship, British Rallycross and Pickup Truck Racing race series. The first records of racing at Croft date back to the 1920s, but it was after the Second World War that Croft circuit became a significant motorsport venue.

Getting to Croft Circuit

By road:
If you’re travelling south, use the A1(M) and take Junction 58 – Darlington. Go through Darlington and then take the A167 to Northallerton. Croft Circuit is +/- 2 miles south of Croft on Tees.

If you’re travelling north, use the A1(M) and take Junction 58 – Darlington. Take the 5th exit at the second roundabout – Northallerton A167. Croft Circuit is +/- 2 miles south of Croft on Tees.

By train:
Take the East Coast Main Line and get off at Darlington Station. Croft Circuit is 4 miles north of the station.

By air:
There are 2 airports near Croft Circuit: Teeside Airport and Newcastle Airport. Teeside airport is closest to the Croft race track. It is possible to land light aircraft at the circuit; contact Croft Circuit to make arrangements.

Croft Nostalgia Festival

The Croft Nostalgia Festival brings history to life with motor sports, military vehicle displays and living history encampments, classic vehicles (1930s to 1970s) and flying displays from period aircraft. The public is welcome to wear period clothing to get into the spirit of things.

The Croft Nostalgia Festival is held over a weekend and is one of the few places in England where you can see iconic cars race head-to-head.

Petrol & Pistons is a new event which is designed to showcase pretty much anything with an internal combustion engine. The public can enjoy car club displays, trade stands, stunt shows, individual displays, children’s entertainment and Kleers Show and Shine. Track days

Car Track Days:
You can drive your own car on Croft Circuit, which is an international racing track. Track days at Croft Circuit come to you courtesy of Javelin, Book-a-track and Opentrack. There are two types of car track days: Noisy (105DB limit) and Quiet (88DB limit).

Bike Track Days:
You can also ride your own bike on the Croft racing circuit. Track days are available from April though to September.
