About

2026 marks a historic shift as the Spanish Grand Prix moves to the capital. The IFEMA Madrid Street Circuit is a bold, part-permanent, part-street facility designed to bring F1 directly to the fans. The circuit is characterized by a "stadium-style" section through the IFEMA exhibition halls and a spectacular, steeply banked turn (Turn 10) inspired by the legendary Sitges-Terramar oval. While Madrid last hosted F1 at the Jarama circuit in 1981, this new layout is a modern marvel intended to facilitate overtaking with its 550-meter-long main straight.

Location

The circuit is situated in the Barajas district, centered around the IFEMA Madrid exhibition complex. Madrid is a city of "Barrios," each with its own soul—from the regal Salamanca to the bohemian Malasaña. The local area of Valdebebas is a rapidly growing modern district adjacent to Real Madrid’s training ground.
Location fact
The track actually passes through two tunnels as it transitions between the exhibition grounds and the public roads of Valdebebas.
