About

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is the "Fastest Street Circuit in the World." Debuting in 2021, it is a high-speed, flowing ribbon of asphalt that winds along the Red Sea. Unlike traditional street tracks with 90-degree turns, Jeddah has 27 corners—the most on the calendar—and an average speed of over 250km/h. It is a terrifyingly fast "tunnel" of concrete walls where precision is everything. The race is held at night under thousands of floodlights, creating a neon-lit spectacle.

Location

The track is located on the Corniche, a 30km coastal resort area in Jeddah. Jeddah is known as the gateway to Mecca but is a cosmopolitan city itself. The local Al-Balad district is a UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient coral-stone houses.
Location fact
The circuit encircles a lagoon, and the track is so close to the water that you can see the Red Sea from many of the onboard camera shots.
