About

The Miami International Autodrome is a "temporary-permanent" circuit built around the Hard Rock Stadium (home of the Miami Dolphins). Launched in 2022, it was designed to give F1 a "Super Bowl" style event experience. The track features 19 corners and a 1.28km straight. A unique characteristic is the "fake marina" (dry-docked yachts on wooden floors) and the beach club atmosphere that brings Florida's "Neon Noir" aesthetic to the paddock.

Location

Located in Miami Gardens, about 15 miles north of Downtown Miami. While the immediate area is suburban, the circuit is designed as a "campus" with the stadium at its heart. Nearby Miami Beach and South Beach offer the iconic Art Deco scenery and world-famous nightlife.

Travel Information

Airlines: Fly into Miami International (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL).

Trains: The Brightline high-speed rail connects Miami to Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Orlando. Use the Aventura station for shuttle links to the track.

Roads: The Florida Turnpike and I-95 are the main routes.

Local Transport: Miami is a car-centric city. Using ride-share (Uber/Lyft) to "Park & Ride" lots is often the most efficient way to enter the stadium campus.

Fan Culture, Viewing & Weather

Fan Culture: High-glamour, celebrity-filled, and energetic. It’s as much about the party as it is the racing.

Best Viewing: Turn 18 Grandstand at the end of the long back straight. It’s the primary overtaking spot and gives you a view of the pit entry.

Weather: Hot and tropical. May temperatures often exceed 30°C with high humidity. Afternoon thunderstorms are a frequent "wildcard" for the race.
