Travel Information
Airlines: Fly into Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), which is uniquely close—just 2 miles from the Strip.
Trains: There is no intercity rail, but the Las Vegas Monorail runs along the east side of the Strip with stations at MGM Grand, Flamingo, and Harrah’s/LINQ.
Roads: I-15 is the main highway, but expect major "rolling closures" of the Strip and surrounding roads starting early each evening.
Local Transport: Walking is the best option if staying on the Strip. The Monorail operates extended hours (until 3:00 AM) on race weekend to accommodate the late-night sessions.
Fan Culture, Viewing & Weather
Fan Culture: High-energy, celebrity-heavy, and extravagant. It’s less of a traditional race and more of a city-wide festival. Fans are a mix of "Drive to Survive" newcomers and high-rollers.
Best Viewing: The T-Mobile Zone at the Sphere offers a surreal backdrop with the world's largest LED screen reflecting the action.
Weather: Cold! While it's the desert, November nights in Vegas can drop to 8°C–10°C (46°F–50°F). Pack a proper jacket—you’ll need it while walking between zones.
