About

The Red Bull Ring is a scenic marvel nestled in the Styrian mountains. Originally the Oesterreichring, it was shortened and modernized, eventually joining the calendar as the A1-Ring before Red Bull revived it in 2014. It is a short, punchy track with only 10 corners and massive elevation changes. The uphill climb to Turn 3 is one of the steepest in F1, providing a spectacular backdrop for late-braking overtakes.

Airlines: Fly into Vienna (VIE) or Graz (GRZ).

Trains: The nearest station is Knittelfeld. Free shuttle buses run frequently from the station to the circuit.

Roads: The S36 (Murtal Schnellstraße) provides direct access.

Local Transport: Many fans choose to camp trackside to avoid the commute. For others, the "Schienenersatzverkehr" (shuttle buses) from various regional hubs is the best bet.

Fan Culture, Viewing & Weather

Fan Culture: A home race for Red Bull Racing, so expect a sea of blue and orange. It feels like a massive outdoor festival with alpine hospitality.

Best Viewing: Turn 3 Grandstand is arguably the best seat on the calendar; you are at the highest point of the track and can see about 60% of the entire circuit.

Weather: Typical Alpine summer—hot days (28°C) but frequent afternoon thunderstorms that can turn the race on its head.
