About

The Yas Marina Circuit is the traditional season finale, famous for its "twilight" start—beginning in the sunlight and ending under floodlights. Designed by Hermann Tilke and built on a man-made island, it features a unique pit-lane exit that passes through a tunnel under the track. The layout was remodeled in 2021 to be faster and more flowing, removing several chicanes to encourage the dramatic title-deciding overtakes that the circuit is now famous for.
