“Pre season Formula 1 testing for the 2015 season will be held in Spain at Jerez and Barcelona. Starting 1st February in Jerez”

F1 Pre Season Test Session 1

The first chance to see the 2015 F1 car will be at the Jerez, Circuit De Velocidad
Location – Jerez Spain
Date – 1st to 4th February 2015
Tickets for F1 Testing at Jerez are available from the circuit at 10€ for daily Grandstand seats. Children under 12 can enter free of charge.

F1 Test Day Hospitality for Jerez

F1 Pre Season Test Session 2

Location – Barcelona Catalunya Circuit, Spain
Date – 19th – 22nd February
Tickets – Go on sale 19th January from Circuit website or can be purchased at the Circuit.

General Admission tickets are 15 euros. There is also a ‘Visites Guiades F1 TEST DAYS’ ticket which gives you a tour of some of the normally restricted areas including the briefing room, podium, media centre, race direction, pit garage and paddock.
The ‘Visites Guiades’ ticket is 70 euros and also includes watching the Formula One Test Days from the Main Grandstand and Grandstands F, N, G, H, and I, before and after the tour.
The tour includes:

– Video of the Circuit
– Tour around the facilities: briefing room, podium, media centre, race direction, pit garage and paddock.
– Tour around the service tracks (around the racetrack).
– Schedule: 10.00-11.15-15.00
– Duration of the tour: 1h 15 min.

Date – 26th February to 1st March 2015

Latest Formula 1 testing news..

Unlike 2014 Bahrain has not been included as a Formula 1 test location in 2015 in an effort to reduce costs to the teams.

In Season Testing

The locations for 2 in season test sessions have been announced by Red Bull Racing. They announced the first test will take place after the Spanish Grand F1 Prix in Barcelona and the second test will be at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

Sky F1 have announced as well as broadcasting Live coverage they will be broadcasting two special programmes featuring the the latest news and insights from Jerez and Barcelona following the 12 days of F1 pre season winter testing. Ted Kravitz and David Croft will also provide further insight to the test’s including update on Ted’s Notebook show.
