First held in 2004, the Bahrain Grand Prix is slowly establishing itself as an unmissable event, providing a high quality circuit in the heart of Bahrain’s desert location. However, with temperatures reaching up to 35° Celsius in the summer, it’s important to choose wisely
where to sit in order to ensure you know where you are sitting so you can escape to some shade while enjoying the event!
We’ve compiled a Where to Sit guide below to assist you in picking which area of the track you’ll enjoy.
The main grandstand offers a great view of the start and finish of the race, as well as sneak
peaks of pre-grid action and the podium post-race. You will also be able to see other vantage points of the track from a distance, and can enjoy any areas out of sight on the grandstand giant screens showing the action live throughout the race!
This is a great location to sit for ultimate viewing of the Grand Prix, offering great views of the race from start to finish.
Batelco Grandstand Bahrain
The Batelco grandstand is located on the circuit’s back straight, providing stunning panoramic views of nearly 60% of the track! This is an excellent place to sit for those who don’t want to miss a minute of the action, with a variety of turns, straights, and key overtaking points of the circuit on full view. As with the main grandstand, the Batelco grandstand is also served by giant screens to view the rest of the race.
Turn 1 Grandstand
Turn 1 grandstand offers the best views of the exciting first turn after the main straight, where spectators will no doubt witness many overtakes and breath-taking driving action. This location also offers great views of turns 2 and 3, and provides giant-screen viewing of the remainder of the circuit.
The victory grandstand, as the name implies, allows spectators the perfect view of the last section of the track, as well as the back straight of the circuit too.
University grandstand seating is located opposite turns 2 and 3, but also offers a view of turns 1, 9 & 10, meaning ticket-holders to this location will see a wide range of the action across the event.
