Public Transport
Unfortunately, Bahrain’s public transport network is still in development, and can be subject to considerable delays on a typical day, so this is often not the recommended method when travelling to the circuit as it could take a lot longer than it should.
However, should you still wish to use Bahrain’s public transport, there are bus services that travel to the circuit. You may also find that your hotel offers a shuttle service over the weekend, so it is useful to check with your accommodation first.
Parking
The most efficient method of travel to the circuit is by car, providing the quickest travel time out of all options and guaranteeing a speedy exit after each day has ended.
All spectators are permitted 1 free parking pass per 2 grandstand tickets booked, making parking easily accessible for all ticket holders.
Taxis
If you will not have access to a car or hire vehicle during the event, you can also travel to the circuit each day by taxi. Booking in advance is recommended, however, as there is often a long waiting time for taxis after the race has finished which can cause long delays.
Accommodation
The city capital of Manama is located 30km, or approximately a 40 minute drive, from Bahrain’s
Grand Prix circuit, and this is where the majority of guests will find accommodation over the weekend event.
Manama city offers lively entertainment and authentic cuisine, so enjoy the culture once you have returned to your hotel. There are many hotels on offer to suit all budgets, with the quality of a good standard in internationally branded hotels in particular.
Location options range from Manama’s scenic seafront hotels, to several international hotels placed directly in the city centre, providing the convenience of travel to the circuit itself, and entertainment only a few short minutes away from every side during the evenings.
