Lewis Hamilton gives emotional victory speech to staff after Hungarian GP victory

Lewis Hamilton won the Hungarian Grand Prix in brilliant style. His said the car was quick enough back at the German Grand Prix to fight for the top positions, but his race was ruined at turn 1 on lap 1 then.

Showing more experience and more maturity than ever, Lewis Hamilton was happy to be in third after the first racing lap in Hungary. He then picked off Mark Webber with a wicked move around the outside at turn 2 and then Alonso’s wheel problems allowed Lewis to take a comfortable lead.

In this exclusive video, listen to Lewis thank all the staff at the Woking factory personally alongside team boss, Martin Whitmarsh. It’s a great clip showing you how much that victory meant to the 2008 champion and what he still believes is possible for the 2009 season.
