Heikki Kovalainen has topped the time sheets in the dying seconds of the first free practice session at the Hungarian Grand Prix with a 1min 22secs .278. It is the second time this season Heikki has managed to top a session and you’d have to think back to Turkey for his previous effort.

The session saw the Red Bull drivers complain about tyre temperatures being too high, with Sebastain Vettel in particular sounding quite phased by it all. They have work to do if they want to beat Brawn GP for a third successive race.
