No England World Cup Final / British GP Clash
England at the British Grand Prix
Just a quick post to remind England football fans who were worried about missing watching them in the World Cup final on race day at Silverstone... don’t!
After a reasonable sporting spectacle took place at the European Grand Prix in Valencia, which saw Sebastian Vettel win from Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, the England football team played Germany immediately after and got smashed 4-1.
Without turning this into an England World Cup campaign review, all I will say is this – they were crap and deserved to lose!
As the race approaches, 2010 British Grand Prix tickets are close to selling out. Silverstone organisers have told fans that the World Cup final will be shown on big screens on the Sunday evening, but unfortunately it won’t be England.
