Matheo Tuscher - Stars of Tomorrow 2013
Matheo Tuscher - Where is he from?
Matheo Tuscher has just turned sixteen years old, born on 12 December 1996 in Noville in Switzerland
Career History
2011 - Formula Pilota China Champion
2012 - FIA Formula Two Championship, second
His current career statistics are: 28 starts, ten wins, eight pole positions and eight fastest laps.
My Prediction for the Future
When Matheo first signed up for Formula Two in 2012 alongside experienced drivers Luciano Bacheta, Christopher Zanella, Markus Pommer, Mihai Marinescu and Kevin Mirocha I thought that he would struggle against such experience but would get there at the end of the season.
Then he turned up at Silverstone for the first race of the season, and stuck it on pole at just fifteen years old. He could only manage sixth in that first race but it was just a sign of things to come, two wins later in the season gave him an unexpected second place in the championship, and I have no doubt that if A1GP still existed he would be spending the winter there enhancing his reputation.
His next step should be GP3, as I do not feel he is ready for GP2 (I thought the same thing about Formula Two, but was wrong) that way he can get himself onto the Grand Prix support programme, and start to get himself noticed on a much wider scale.
