Ferrari escape unscathed from World Council hearing
No further punishment for Ferrari
Ferrari left the hearing in Paris today without any further punishment than the $100,000 the team had already been fined. The Italian team were accused of team orders in Hockenheim earlier this year when Felipe Mass was told "Alonso is faster than you, do you understand?" by his race engineer Rob Smedley. Massa subsequently handed Fernando the lead.
Eddie Jordan believes that Ferrari deserved further punishment for treating "us all like muppets." For a team like as well established as Ferrari a $100,000 fine seems very light for obviously breaking a rule that has been within the sport since 2001 but the council have spoken and Ferrari will continue on as they were in the title.

indeed they should have revoked the fine (if they are allowed to do that) if they believe there was no proof

I think the FIA have scored a massive own goal here. They should have at least docked Ferrari their constructors points, even if it was just to acknowledge they had done something wrong.
I look forward to the FIA's reasoning.

I just can't understand this, how on earth can the FIA say that there was no proof that there were team orders, when Ferrari have already been punished for it. If there was no proof, why did they get the fine in the first place.
Jean Todt's son must have had a cheeky word with him.
It stinks indeed

just like a footballer should be booked for diving if he goes down in a big way in the penalty box if it's not a foul!
it has to be clear cut one way or the other
