Who was your driver of the year?

At the end of the exciting 2012 Formula 1 season, moneysupermarket.com emailed me and fellow F1 bloggers for our driver of the year rankings. I voted Alonso 1st, citing "I've never known a driver to extract so much from so little. He never gives up and was the best overall racer on the grid." Was I fair? The other bloggers involved in the poll appear to have agreed with me, and Fernando was crowned driver of the year as a result. Here is the full list:
