Casio remains partner of Red Bull in 2011
But are the watches any good?
After hearing the other day that Casio will once again partner Red Bull Racing in 2011, I was keen to check out what their special range of watches were actually like.
A keen watch wearer myself, it’s interesting to mix the style and innovation of Formula 1, with the craftsmanship and design of a popular watch brand.
We’ll have to wait until later in the year for the next collection of Red Bull themed Casio watches, but here are two they brought out last year: The EQW-M710-1AER | EDIFICE and the EFA-131RBSP-1AVEF | EDIFICE. A little bit model number happy for my liking!
Check out Casio's EDIFICE range here
Priced at £150 and £199, these are pretty nice watches that are smart enough for most occasions, but have enough F1 style to them give them the edge over any normal watch.
Both are rubber strapped and have water resistance of 100 meter, so I think it’s safe to say that washing up or cleaning the car in either of these watches should do them no harm!
I’ll be sure to check out the 2011 range of Red Bull watches when Casio release them later this season.
