Valencia Grand Prix Circuit Description

The circuit can be divided into two main sections. There is the fast half that races around the water and includes three fast straights, one of which will allow the cars to reach a top speed of 320 kph. The second section of the track races through parkland adjacent to the port area and is much tighter and slower, although still relatively quick for a temporary track. The circuit will be very hard on brakes as it consists almost entirely of long straights and tight corners and there seem to be few areas of the track that flow naturally. Overtaking will be very possible and a number of quick kinks will be challenging, especially in the wet. The track will be one of the longest on the calendar and will also be the fastest of the new street circuits.
