Memoroable moments at the Bahrain Grand Prix
2004 : Kimi Raikkonen was frustrated with his unreliable McLaren so planted his foot to the floor when the engine went bang. As a result, more fuel poured into the cylinders and a huge trail of flames shot out the bank of his car, embarrassing Mercedes greatly.
2005 : This was one of three races in 2005 where Ferrari were competitive, but it was to no avail because Schumacher registered his first mechanical retirement in over four years.
2006 : Kimi Raikkonen moved up nineteen places in the race making it the best result from the worst position since 1993.
2007 : Jarno Trulli finished seventh, made special by the fact that he raced wheel to wheel with both Renaults and Williams’ all race.
