Indian Grand Prix tickets on sale within a month

Indian GP Ticket sales imminent

Superb news for F1 fans thinking of heading to Greater Noida for the inaugural Indian Grand Prix – the tickets should be going on sale within a month – that’s according a spokes person for the race itself.

The highly anticipated race is scheduled for October 30th – but because of the Bahrain GP fiasco there is the chance that the final few races of the 2011 championship may be juggled a little bit to fit the race in Sakhir in.

Whatever the date, the Indian Grand Prix will be a hell of spectacle and has a lot of people very excited about what the country can offer. Can they do a better job that South Korea did by having a track ready and facilities polished by the time the F1 circus rolls into town come the end of October?

It remains to be seen but apparently development is well on schedule and a number of high profile visits for F1 drivers and personnel have kept us up to date with progress.

The Indian Grand Prix has also got the boost of having Narain Karthikeyan join the F1 field for 2011. The ex-Jordan driver has bagged himself a driver with F1 minnows HRT. Here’s hoping they can make a step forward this year. But it we keep saying that about every team on the grid we are going to having a status quo!

Full details of where and how to buy your Indian Grand Prix tickets is available in our F1 ticket section like all the other races.
