F1 Hungarian Grand Prix
F1 Hungarian Grand Prix
Budapest plays host to the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix each year around the short and twisty circuit of the Hungaroring.
The race has been held continuously since 1986 when it was the two Brazilians, Nelson Piquet and Ayrton Senna who dominated the top step of the podium.
The last three races have all been McLaren victories at the hands of Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen.
Although not necessarily a drivers favourite, the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix is one of the traditional races on the Formula One calendar and has seen a few interesting races, such as Jenson Button getting his first every victory in 2006 after over 100 race starts!
