Silverstone tickets have gone on sale and are selling fast.

There is a slight price increase for the 2011 race but the cheapest way to go to the race is with British Grand Prix general admission tickets.

The most popular British Grand Prix general admission tickets are full weekend passes allowing you access to the circuit from Friday right through to race day on Sunday. These tickets are £150 in 2011.

If you're not fussed about watching the race itself and would rather just pay to see the practice or qualifying sessions, Saturday British Grand Prix general admission costs £76 and the price decreases to just £56 for Friday access.

Watching Formula 1 live in the flesh is amazing as anyone who has been to a GP willsurely agree. British Grand Prix general admission tickets offer excellent value for fans on a budget.

Fans should note that general admission for the Silverstone are usually the first British Grand Prix tickets to sell out and are advised to purchase as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
