McLaren F1 Merchandise
McLaren merchandise has always looked incredibly striking and futuristic in recent years. A mix of white/silver team and driver t-shirt’s and the unmistakable rocket red winning shirts that are worn whenever Lewis Hamilton or Jenson Button take the chequered flag.
McLaren’s 2012 merchandise range see’s the return of the white and rocket red t-shirts we were use to be between 2007 and 2008. The sleek black shirts from last year are no more; however the styling from the 2011 range exists in the new items. Sponsors on the shirt includes: Vodafone, Mobil 1, Mercedes-Benz, Pirelli, Lucozade and Hugo Boss on the back.
The driver caps are predominantly rocket red, this year featuring silver lining down each side of the caps. The team cap however is inverted, sporting a silvery grey finish, with the red lines joining onto the peak.
The team fleece is the only dark item which resembles last year’s design. This is the same fleece both drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton will be wearing around the paddocks. When the weather really turns nasty, there’s a silver waterproof jacket which features some cool, dark cuffs.
It’s certainly evolution, not revolution at McLaren this year. They hold the same driver line up, the formidable force that are World Champions Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, but the Mclaren merchandise sure has had a tweak that should please their fans throughout the world.
