Karun Chandhok has spent the last three years in GP2 where he has taken two race wins and three other podiums. Karun's most successful season in the series was 2008 when he finished 10th in the championship as teammate to Bruno Senna at iSport. Before reaching GP2, Chandhok dominated the Indian racing scene in the obscure Formula Maruti series, and tasted moderate success in more competitive Formula Renault and Formula Three championships.
Chandhok will be hoping for some good performances alongside Bruno Senna to boost his chances of staying in Formula One beyond 2010. He is a family friend of Force India boss Vijay Mallya which may indicate where his future lies.
