Attending the British Grand Prix at Silverstone is a unique experience. The race is looked forward to each year by thousands of fans, all eager to see a British driver strive for glory through the fast curves and straights of this incredible circuit. This old fashioned track is one of the fastest venues of the season.

With exactly two weeks to go until the 2013 British Grand Prix, leading F1 ticket supplier GooTickets have reduced their prices on all remaining Silverstone tickets. All tickets have had 20% taken off them in a bid to sell the remaining seats around the circuit.

Becketts and Club Silverstone grandstands ensure quality seats to watch one of the season’s most exciting Grand Prix. The stands lie just after a straight and opposite the famous Becketts corner, a double chicane through which drivers hit an approximate 140mph.

Abbey grandstand sits at the end of the home straight, offering fantastic sights of the start and finish. It’s simply the place to be for any aficionado who wishes to truly experience the adrenaline-filled moments of a Grand Prix. Fans in Abbey will also enjoy unobstructed views of the pit-lane and the podium. Moreover, you’ll also be facing the circuit’s crucial first Turn which offers numerous overtaking opportunities.

The Luffield grandstands (A-B) sit opposite turn 7, offering clear sights on this crucial turn. Luffield is one of the best spots of the track to witness overtaking opportunities. Moreover, speed lovers will enjoy clear sights of the long straight leading to Turn 8, and the back straight heading to Copse.

Smaller budgets can go for General Admission tickets, allowing fans to watch the race from several key points including Luffield and Vale, without forgetting the legendary Becketts Corner. Feel free to move around approximately half the track and watch the race under different perspectives! Ideal for families or large groups of people. General admission tickets are real bargains!

Ticket sales for this year’s running of the British GP have been down on predictions after it is thought some fans were put off the by the Silverstone weather which badly affected the Saturday in 2012. Fans who had come from all over the country were told to stay away whilst the organisers tried to fix the flooded car parks in time for the race.

Silverstone has reiterated how much money and planning has gone into this year’s race to stop a repeat of such chaos, but sales have remained slow as it seems numerous fans will choose to watch the action on television, rather than brave another British summer weekend.

GooTickets are just of a handful of official F1 ticket sellers still offering British Grand Prix passes so please check out our list of trusted websites if you are still thinking of attending the race in a couple of weeks.
