EnterF1 on the Friday at the British Grand Prix 2007

Well what a day - just the weather is enough to hold a conversation down the bar tonight!

The day started wet, cloudy and pretty depressing with a very overcast outlook. FP1 began with what can only be called a disaster for Lewis Hamilton. The new British Hero went off in a 180 degree spin at Abbey chicane, made a pit stop, then... came out again and spun on his outlap in the complex near the end of the lap. What has happened to Britains ice man?

Never fear, Lewis came out, did the business as usual and gave himself 1st place honours by the end of the practise. In short - Hamilton was quick but inconsistent - pressure?

FP2 this afternoon saw little incident with the Ferrari's and McLaren's trading first place position in the build up to the Grand Prix weekend.
