We’re often asked why we don’t recomend the official F1 site to book tickets. Many fans even believe that it’s the one and only place to purchase official F1 tickets. Well from our experience think again!

Formula1.com are pulling a fast one (boom boom!) on fans worldwide by massively over inflating prices for no other reason than greed. The website actually uses the ticket platform provided by GooTickets.com, but with a huge margin added on at the expense of the F1 fan.

Here is an example of just how much extra you will pay by going to the official website compared to going direct.

Formula1.com – Spanish GP – Main Grandstand High – (Fri-Sun) – £363.72
GooTickets.com – Spanish GP – Main Grandstand High – (Fri-Sun) – £316.93

Formula1.com – Monaco GP – Tribune A1 (Sunday) – £423.94
GooTickets.com – Monaco GP – Tribune A1 (Sunday) – £385.76
