Live Action Arena 2007 | The NEC Autosport Show 2007 Birmingham
For any fan who enjoys the speed and noise motorsport generates on a track, gets a unique opportunity to get all of that multiplied by what is on offer in the Live Action Arena show at the NEC each year.
For one hour you are subjected to mini races, fabulous car demonstrations, and some times a world record attempt and whacky stunts!
This year the show is once again hosted by Louise Goodman and she is involved in a stunning intro to the show featuring a Matrix style video of her at the Red Bull factory - we'll say no more but it really is good!
We get to see all the usual races like classic touring cars, F1 stock cars that bash each other about and rally cars flooring it round the whole arena.
This year a world record attempt to break the indoor speed record is being reattempted. The current record stands at about 82.5mph and we can confirm that the Thursday attempt only reached 78mph but as more grip goes down, expect to maybe see the record broken!
The action lasts just one hour and is worth a look as it break the day up nicely from walking round the whole show for the duration of your visit.
Expect some photos to appear soon.
