What 2012 British GP tickets are left for Silverstone?

1 Month to go and only limited tickets still on sale

Earlier this week, Silverstone announced that they are down to the last 5000 (or 4%) British GP tickets with a month still to go before race.

High demand has continued throughout the exciting F1 season and it’s likely to be a sell out before the event kicks off on Friday 6th of July.

Looking over at BookF1.com (supplier of official British F1 tickets), here are the remaining options to get yourself involved in a fantastic weekend of motorsport at Silverstone:

3 Day Weekend Passes

My personal opinion is that the ultimate way to enjoy the British GP is by attending all 3 days. Watch the cars practicing from various vantage points on Friday, and then enjoy the drama of qualifying and the race itself on Saturday and Sunday respectively. There are 3 options left for weekend tickets:

  1. Farm Curve (Adult £302) – View the cars sweeping into turn 1 and exiting the pit lane after the pit stops.
  2. Silverstone Stand (Adult £241) – New for 2012, this stand is on the National Pit Straight and has views into Copse corner.
  3. General Admission (Adult £166) – No reserved seating, but total flexibility to roam the whole track and pick your favourite spot for Sunday afternoon.
  4. More 3 day tickets on: GooTickets.com and GPTicketShop.com

Race Day Only – Sunday

If you are unable to attend the full weekend, you can still by a race day only ticket to watch the Grand Prix itself. Here are your options:

  1. Farm Curve (Adult £254) – Same description as above.
  2. Vale (Adult £254) – Watch the cars exit Stowe Corner and sweep into the Vale. This is the start of the pit lane also. You see the cars for a relatively long time here. I recommend it!
  3. More race day tickets on: GooTickets.com and GPTicketShop.com

Friday and Saturday

Want to make a quick sprint to Silverstone and catch the cars inaction?

  1. General Admission – Saturday (Adult £86) – Watch the qualifying session and some support races.
  2. General Admission – Friday (Adult £65) – Watch two of the F1 free practice sessions as well as some practice and qualifying sessions for the support races.
  3. More Fri/Sat tickets on: GooTickets.com and GPTicketShop.com

If you already have a British Grand Prix ticket and would like more information on the circuit, check out our where to sit at Silverstone page for interactive maps.

There you have it. You’re options are decidedly limited so I recommend you snap up the remaining tickets if you are still considering coming!
