His current career statistics are: 56 starts, one win, four pole positions and two fastest laps.
As I always say, the best way to judge a driver in a junior series is to look at how he improves year or year. Aaro impressed in GP3 in 2011 but only finished fifteenth, he improved to fourth in 2012 – a rise that is worthy of note.
He then did the last few round of the World Series by Renault campaign, gaining vital experience for a full time promotion in 2013. While I doubt he will be a contender for the title in his first year, race wins should be possible and it is only a matter of time before some commentator calls him the ‘Next Flying Finn’
2014 should be a different story he should be right at the front from the start to the end of the season, and then make his next move for 2015.
