What to expect from F1 2010

Formula 1 fans around the globe are rubbing their hands together in excitement for the impending release of F1 2010 across the major platforms!

A version of the latest official F1 game by Codemasters will be coming to Sony Playstation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360 and PC - the officially licensed Formula 1 simulation since F1 Challenge 99-02!

From everything we've read, seen and heard on the web, here are some of the cool features we can expect:

• The latest cars and liveries from the current 2010 F1 season and all 19 tracks from the calendar. That includes the South Korean GP circuit which Formula 1 hasn't even been to yet!
• Living the life of a Formula 1 driver for the first time ever in a game! Full interaction with the media after track sessions and the press in the paddock. Decide how you conduct yourself in the public and see how it shapes your image and career.
• Most complex weather system seen in a racing game. Codemasters have pulled out all the stops for the wet weather effects, drying line, tree cover, puddles - you name it, it's in there!
• Progressive career mode spanning up to 7 full seasons if you can handle it! Start with smaller teams and less is expected of you. As you progress through the rankings, the pressure on your shoulders intensifies!
• Pick up and play… or full blown simulation. You choose how easy or hard F1 2010 will be, opening the game to millions of fans around the globe.

That's made me pretty excited just thinking and typing about it!
